Glacier National Park

It’s Easy to Fall in Love with a Glacier National Park Vacation

Have you ever taken a trip and mid point hit the wall? Overwhelm and exhaustion took over? That was my mental state when we started our Glacier National Park Vacation. We had spent way too many hours driving and had fought the massive crowds in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons the days prior. I’m pretty sure I told Brad that this might be the worst vacation ever after getting drenched all day in the Tetons.

And then we arrived at Glacier National Park and I was transformed. I could literally feel the stress melting away as we hiked to Avalanche Lake that morning. A picnic and a nap on the beach and I was ready to go!Brad proudly took the role of travel guide on this trip. He’s been visiting Glacier National Park for decades, his first trip while he was living in Montana in the 80s. His passion for sharing GNP with friends and family is obvious in the stories he tells.

In our posts below we are sharing many of the things we love about Glacier National Park. As I organized our research I fell in love again. I’m already planning our next trip. Perhaps you should start planning yours!
